Whole Foods Market \ Beauty & Wellness Department

Trends in Beauty & Wellness
Ready to Go

Enticing customers to grab-and-go the newest products in Beauty & Wellness with an evergreen signage topper for a brand new fixture.

  • Design + Production.
Art direction by Sarah Farsh. Copywriting by Talia Bootz.

  • The ask was to create something everlasting that could adapt and flow with the seasons in-store. We wanted to keep it in black and white to call back to Whole Foods’ chalkboard lettering roots. I incorporated some foliage illustrations to breathe life into the sign and create some movement to entice guests to check out the latest grab & go beauty trends below.

  • Utilizing Whole Foods’ Beauty & Wellness brand, illustration, and quippy copy, we created signage that ultimately resulted in sales growth in the targeted channel and a piece of signage that launched in 2019 across the US and Canada and is still in stores today.

Wine Tasting Note Tags

Empowering the average shopper to become an amateur sommelier in the Whole Foods Market wine aisle, one tasting note tag at a time.

  • Art Direction + Design.
Copywriting by members of the Wine Department.

  • The Wine Department tasked us with creating tasting note tags for specialty wines that could help customers quickly understand and select a wine. The tags needed to be formulaic to integrate smoothly with their POS/barcode system.

  • I created a simple, effective and adaptable tag whose light color would stand out in a dark wine aisle and help customers feel more comfortable and empowered when selecting a wine.

  • Art Direction + Design.

  • The Meat Department tasked us updating their packaging to focus more on Whole Foods Market’s impressive certifications and values that how animals are raised matters.

  • I created updated packaging that is still very true to the Meat Department’s established look and feel, while driving home the messaging they were wanting to communicate.
